Where did the Manatu Team go in the holidays?

This week we made these posters by colouring in the white spaces with colour pastels. It was like a puzzle. The zebra was really hard to piece together because of all the stripes.

What do you think of the giraffe? We did them with some of the Tawhai Team. 

Mrs Hunter liked them sooo much.... She asked us to make some for the library!

Jack ran away because he did not want to do his homework. But when he was running the book opened and he flew through the air. Then he did do his homework. Libby

One day a boy called Bob was trying to fly and he found some books in a big cave. Bob is very cool because he plays with me. Scarlett

Swoosh! The boy went up into the sky with magic books. He picked up his friends as he went to school. Hunter

Woosh woosh! Went the boy. He is flying. The books are magic. He is taking his friend Harry with him to  Antartica. He is like a driver in a bus and Harry is like the children like he is going to school. Hannah.

Jack is  going up, up and he is going to get Hunter to go to school. He wants Hunter to get on the books like he is going on a bus. He goes home to his Mum and Dad Tallulah. Tallulah

Weee! A boy was flying to Antarctica. He was flying with his best friend Tom. They eat cupcakes because they did not have any more food. They also were flying with magic books. When they got there they played with the ice. They loved it. After they ate cupcakes they played games with penguins. They were exciting. Raisa

Zoom! Natil was gone with his flying books and reading while he was flying. "It is amazing" said Natil. He really wanted to get to school. "What a good view.". Olivia

Woosh! Up went a boy called George flying with books. When he goes high the books change to a flying bus. Sophia

I am flying and I wished I was flying way way in the sky. I will get a good view. The books are hanging on a bit of string. Ahhh that is so high in the sky. Oliver

Whoosh ahhh! I can't believe that worked. Oh to high I am at the moon. Well how will I get down? It is amazing that I got here. Ahhh help aliens bleep blop blue blaaaaaaa. Help me! Rahui

Woosh the boy goes up in the sky. He goes so so so high up in the sky. He goes to heaven. He's never gone to heaven before. His Dad and Mum will be worried. Daniel
