Olympic interviews

Today in Manatu we did some acting. We got put in groups and in our groups we looked up New Zealand athletes that have been competing at the Olympics in Rio.

We learnt that when videoing it is hard when people interupt, talking loud and trying not to fiddle with the ipad.

Kia Kaha - Constable Gordon

Today we had Constable Gordon from the Balclutha Police in Manatu to tell us about bullying.

We put a comic story in order. The story was about a girl who got bullied. 

We learnt

- Where safe places are to play.

- Who we can play with. 

- Who we can tell if someone isn't being very kind. 

- To say Stop! I don't like it. 

- How do stop bullies
